About the role
As a research and development engineer with us, you will work on the development of products for coagulation diagnostics. You will play a central role in our efforts to develop the next generation of latex immunoassays with a larger measurement range and fewer interference issues than current products on the market.
The work includes project planning, planning and conducting laboratory experiments, as well as analysis, documentation, and reporting of results. The role involves close collaboration with other functions in the company, making your communication skills and unpretentious working style crucial. In some projects, you will have primary responsibility, while in others you will contribute as part of the team – always with the mindset that together we will achieve our common goals.
We are looking for someone who
· Has at least a master's degree or equivalent in biochemistry, biotechnology, chemistry, or a similar field.
· Is engaged, curious, proactive, and solution-oriented.
· Is motivated by challenges in research projects and sees them as opportunities to develop your skills.
· Has good collaboration skills and appreciates working in teams with diverse competencies.
· Has at least a couple of years of experience working in research, laboratory, or product development environments.

Meritorious
· Experience in coagulation diagnostics or related fields.
· Experience in independently designing and setting up immunochemical methods or similar for diagnostic or research purposes.
Salary range
At Nordic Biomarker, we use a recognized tool for job evaluation, salary mapping, and salary setting. Nordic Biomarker is covered by the collective agreement between IKEM, Unionen, Sveriges Ingenjörer/Naturvetarna, and Ledarna, which means that salary setting is individual and differentiated. This means that the final salary is set with consideration to the applicant's previous work experience and competencies. For this position, the starting salary is between 37,000 – 47,000 SEK per month.
